Was it worth the Argument? Maybe if I won it...

So to counter my semi-sadder previous post I thought I would share an argument I had with one of my students the other day...was it worth the argument? Probably not...Did I need to stand up for myself? Indeed I did!

Student: Miss Harris, are you a kid still?
Me: No, I am an adult.
Student: No you aren't!
Me: Yes...I am.
Student: But you aren't married.
Me: You do not have to be married to be an adult.
Student: Yes you do.
Me: No you don't
Student: Yes you do!
Me: I'm an adult.
Student: No you aren't.
Me: Whatever.

Sadly this first grader won that argument.

Apparently I won't be an adult until I get one of these:

and a man.

(and according to one of my kindergartners he needs to be hott)

Boy do these kids make it hard to just be a single gal :)
