Squirrel

Sorry if anyone who actually read this is getting tired of all the kids stuff...but lets be honest, right now those little ones are my life.  

So today we were sitting at snack when one of the kids saw a squirrel in the play area outside the window.  Slowly as the kids finished eating snack they went to the window...until all of them were looking out the window at the squirrel.

We stood and watched that squirrel for about 10 minutes.  In that time it went all over the play area, found a nut, and buried the nut.  It was actually really cool to watch the squirrel...and see that the kids were just as entertained as I was.  

It is cool the little things we can see, experience, feel, etc. if we just take a little time to stop and enjoy the beauty that is surrounding us.  I got to do that today...and so did 11toddlers.  

Surely if a bunch of busy one year olds can make the time then we all can make the time, right?
